About the Backhouse

The Backhouse’s vision is to see Whanganui thriving locally in a global economy powered by technology and a digitally enhanced economy. To achieves this our mission is to enhance regional tech innovation through empowerment and enablement, through supporting, partnering, and collaborating with iwi, hapū, and the wider eco-system. We build capacity to connect and create, innovate and inspire, and to wrap supportive systems up a staircase of capability.
